[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 홍태용 김해시장이 지난 11일 제105회 전국체육대회 개회식으로 김해의 밤을 화려하게 수놓은 데 이어 13일부터 체전 대회운영본부와 종목별 경기장을 찾아 체육회 관련자들을 격려하고 시민들과 함께 경기 응원을 펼쳐나가고 있다고 14일 밝혔다. 

 

김해종합운동장에 마련된 대회운영본부에는 대한체육회를 비롯 17개 시·도 체육회 상황실, 대한육상연맹, 경찰과 소방 상황실 등 체전 관계자들이 모여 체전 컨트롤타워 역할을 하고 있다. 

 

지난 13일 홍태용 김해시장은 김해종합운동장에 있는 시·도 체육회와 자원봉사 상황실을 찾아 각 체육회 임원진과 자원봉사자들을 격려하고 원활한 대회 운영을 위한 적극적인 지원을 약속했다.

 

또 김해시 선수가 출전 중인 축구(시민체육공원 축구장), 씨름(김해문화체육관), 복싱(김해학생실내체육관) 경기장을 방문해 선수단과 종목별 협회 임원진을 격려하고 시민 서포터즈와 함께 경기에 임한 선수들을 응원했다. 

 

14일에는 하키(김해하키경기장)와 육상(김해종합운동장), 16일에는 테니스(김해능동테니스장), 세팍타크로(진영스포츠센터) 경기장을 찾아 응원을 이어나갈 예정이다. 

 

홍태용 시장은 “선수들이 가진 기량을 유감없이 발휘해 최선을 다하고 있다. 뒤이어 치러질 제44회 전국장애인체육대회의 선수나 관람객들이 불편하지 않는지 세심하게 살피겠다”며 “국내 최정상급 선수들이 출전하는 경기를 직관할 수 있는 기회인 만큼 많은 시민들도 경기장을 찾아 선수단들을 응원해주시기 바란다”고 말했다.
