[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 16일부터 20일까지 ‘가야고분군 세계유산 등재 1주년’을 기념하는 다양한 행사를 개최한다고 18일 밝혔다.

 

이번 기념행사는 지난해 9월 유네스코 세계유산으로 등재된 가야고분군(▲김해 대성동고분군 ▲함안 말이산고분군 ▲창녕 교동과 송현동 고분군 ▲고성 송학동고분군 ▲합천 옥전고분군 ▲남원 유곡리와 두락리 고분군 ▲고령 지산동고분군)의 1년을 돌아보고 기념하는 자리로 가야고분군이 지닌 탁월한 보편적 가치를 대중들과 나누기 위해 기획됐다. 

 

먼저 지난 16일에는 수릉원 무대에서 큰별샘 최태성 강사를 초청해 ‘세계유산 대성동고분군’을 주제로 특별한 강연을 펼쳤다.

 

이어진 18일에는 ‘세상이 가야를 품고, 세계가 가야를 기억하다’라는 주제로 가야고분군 세계유산 등재 1주년 기념식과 축하공연을 펼친다.

특히 세계유산 등재 1주년을 맞아 같은 기간 대성동고분군 및 김해시 일원에서 ‘2024 세계유산 가야문화축제’가 함께 열려 가야왕국 퍼레이드, 가야 빛의 거리, 세계유산 보물찾기, 가야복식 패션쇼 등 다채로운 행사로 방문객을 맞는다.
