▲ 창원특례시는 6일 ‘2024년 창원시 가족화합 한마당’을 개최했다.

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 6일 여성회관 창원관에서 창원시민 100여 명이 참여한 가운데 ‘2024년 창원시 가족화합 한마당’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

올해 19번째 개최하는 이번 행사는 가족 기능 강화와 가족 가치 확산에 기여한 모범 다문화가족·우수 봉사자·활동가·종사자 4개 부문 15명에게 표창패를 수여하는 등 기념식과 가족문화체험, 부대체험으로 매년 진행되어왔다. 

기념식에 이어 올 한 해 지역사회에서 가족 친화 문화 확산을 위해 노력한 창원시가족봉사단, 품앗이 활동 가족, 다문화가족의 어울림과 소통의 장으로 레크리에이션, 가족 소통 요리, 우리 가족 응원 메시지, 가족 포토존 등 다채로운 체험이 마련되어 그간의 노고를 격려하는 장이 되었다. 

또한 ‘2024년 창원시 가족화합 한마당’의 일환으로 지난 11월 24에는 어린이 서커스 마술쇼 공연 관람에 창원특례시민 92명이 참여하였으며, 12월 7일 가족화합 요리체험 98명, 창원LG세이커스 농구경기관람에 167명이 참여하는 등 시민들의 큰 호응을 얻었다.

최종옥 여성가족과장은 “건강가정 구현에 앞장서 온 유공자의 노고에 감사드리며, 특히 이번 행사가 가족이 소통하고 화합하는 장이 되길 바라며, 시는 앞으로 가족관계 향상 및 기능 강화를 위한 다양한 시책을 적극 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.
