시는 14일 1분기 복지여성보건국 정례브리핑을 통해 복지분야 주요 전략인 ‘보듬복지 행복생태 조성’을 위해 돌봄, 교육, 여가, 생활편의 시설 등 시민 모두가 행복하고 안전한 생활을 누릴 수 있는 맞춤형 복지시설을 건립하고 기능 보강을 중점 추진한다고 밝혔다.

 

<치매전담 시립노인주간보호센터 건립>

 

시는 민선8기 공약사업으로 시립 노인주간보호센터를 건립한다. 시립 노인주간보호센터는 치매전담형 기관으로 지상 1~ 2층(대지 383㎡, 연면적 378㎡), 총사업비 22억 1600만 원을 투입할 예정으로 ‘25년 12월 완공을 목표로 추진 중에 있다.  

 

시립 노인주간보호센터는 전문적인 치매 관리, 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 공간, 가족과 사회 지원 강화, 지역사회와의 협력 강화 등으로 치매환자들에게 맞춤형 전문 간호 및 관리를 제공하여 서비스대상자와 가족의 삶의 질 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
