[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도 해양항만수산국이 올해 ‘미래를 여는 해양수산, 행복한 어촌’을 비전으로 다양한 정책 추진을 위한 계획을 4일 브리핑을 통해 밝혔다.

 

이상훈 경남도 해양수산국장은 정책 중 해양쓰레기를 육지와 같이 체계적인 시스템으로 관리한다고 밝혔다.

 

이에 해양환경교육센터를 2개소로 확대 운영하고, 각종 어업인 대상 교육과 행사에 해양환경 교육을 실시한다. 

 

또한 매월 셋째 주 범도민 바다자율정화 활동도 계속한다.

 

특히 드론 활용 해양쓰레기 분포지도(Map) 제작, 선박(어선) 재활용 봉투(포대) 제작‧공급, 전국 최초 포집형 하천쓰레기 해양유입 차단시설 설치(사천) 등 다양한 사업을 추진한다. 

 

이번 시범사업을 통해 부족한 점을 보완해 확대한다는 계획이다.

 

남해군 강진만 3구역(1천㏊)의 침적 폐기물을 수거해 강진만 전체(3천㏊) 바다 밑 정화사업을 완료하고, 고성군은 올해 청정어장 재생사업 공모를 신청한다. 

 

해안가 우심 지역에는 상시 수거전담반을 운영하고, 환경정화선 수거용 크레인을 설치해 신속히 수거하며, 로봇을 이용한 부유 해양쓰레기 수거 실증 등 새로운 기술 도입을 모색한다.

 

폐스티로폼, 플라스틱류를 건축자재 원료, 백등유 등으로 재활용하는 전국 최초 해양폐기물 자원순환센터(20톤/일)를 시범 운영한다. 

 

선상 집하장을 확충해 집하장 단계부터 분리배출이 가능하도록 분리배출 체계를 정착한다.

 

경남도는 스마트양식 확산과 수산식품산업 육성을 통해 풍요로운 바다를 조성한다는 계획이다.

 

이에 스마트가두리 시범사업(개소당 40억 원), 패류 공동생산 시설사업(개소당 5억원) 등 정부 공모사업을 통해 스마트양식 인프라를 구축한다.

100년 빈도 재해에도 견디도록 방파제 등 인프라를 확충하고, 여객‧화물‧어업 복합기능 항만 육성을 위한 통영 중화항 개발공사(총사업비 469억원)를 상반기 착공한다. 

 

어촌신활력증진사업, 복합다기능 부잔교(15개소) 설치, 소형어선 피항지 건설과 지역 주민 의견을 반영한 통영 영운항 관광 인프라 구축, 사천 송포항 주변 도로 안전 펜스 설치도 진행한다.

 

도는 또 물가 안정과 생계비 부담을 줄이기 위해서도 노력한다.
