[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도는 6일 도시주택분야 브리핑을 통해 2030 경상남도 경관계획 수립을 통한 특색있는 도시환경 조성과 청년·신혼부부 주거지원 확대를 주요정책과제로 제시하며, 경남이 더욱 살기 좋은 도시로 성장할 수 있도록 적극 추진할 계획이라고 밝혔다.

 

이날 신종우 도시주택국장은 경남의 변화된 여건을 반영한 ‘2030 경상남도 경관계획’을 수립한다고 밝혔다.

 

이는 자연자원과 역사문화자원을 보존·관리하고, 특색 있는 경남을 만들기 위한 종합적인 관리방안이다.

 

이번 경관계획은 경남이 지닌 천혜의 자연환경과 문화유산을 체계적으로 보전하고 관리하면서, 지역 주민과의 조화는 물론 미래 세대까지 지속가능한 발전을 도모하는 중장기 계획이다.

 

도는 "조화로운 자연과 생동하는 미래가 있는 다채로운 경남"을 경관미래상으로 설정했다. 

 

이를 실현하기 위한 5대 추진전략을 세우고, 경관기본계획과 특정경관계획 및 실행계획 등을 포함해 종합적인 관리 방안을 수립해 실효성을 높였다.

 

지역별 특색에 맞는 경관 관리 방안을 제시하기 위해 경남을 5개 권역, 4개 축, 6개 거점으로 나누었고, 이를 토대로 각각의 경관자원에 대한 보존관리방안을 마련했다.

특히, 도 차원에서 중요한 특정지역의 경관자원에 대해 남해안·지리산·낙동강·역사문화·야간·산업 등 6개 분야를 특정경관계획으로 선정해 도 차원의 관리 방안을 수립했다. 

 

6개 분야별 특정경관 가이드라인도 마련하여, 향후 시군에서 경관계획 수립과 각종 개발사업에 도 특정경관 가이드라인을 우선 적용토록 할 계획이다.

 

경관계획을 통해 실질적인 변화와 도민이 체감할 수 있는 개선을 할 수 있도록 경상남도 경관조례에 특정경관계획 가이드라인 준수 조항을 신설하는 등 실행력 확보 방안도 마련했다. 

 

경남의 아름다운 경관을 감상할 수 있는 관광명소를 만들기 위해 주요 랜드마크를 활용한 뷰포인트(조망점) 사업을 시군 대상 공모사업으로 추진할 계획이다.

 

신종우 도시주택국장은 “앞으로 2030 경상남도 경관계획을 바탕으로 사람과 자연, 과거와 현재가 공존하는 경남의 미래를 설계하겠다”고 하면서, “도민 모두가 함께 성장할 수 있는 지속가능한 도시 환경을 만들기 위해 더욱 노력하겠다”고 밝혔다.
