[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 7일부터 미세먼지 저감 및 대기질 개선을 위한 ‘가정용 친환경 보일러 보급사업’을 시작한다고 밝혔다.

 

이 사업은 저소득층, 다자녀가구, 사회복지시설 등을 지원 대상으로 친환경 보일러 250대에 대해 세대 당 60만원의 보조금을 지원한다.

 

친환경 보일러는 일반 보일러보다 열효율이 높고, 질소산화물(NOx) 배출량이 적어 난방비 절감과 미세먼지 발생을 줄이는 효과가 있다. 

 

신청은 7일부터 2025년 예산 소진 시까지 가능하며, 보조금을 받을 수 있는 보일러는 에코스퀘어 누리집에서 확인 가능하다. 

 

특히 시는 올해부터 다자녀가구의 조건을 완화해 기준중위소득 100%까지 보조금 지원이 가능해졌다.

 

진주시 관계자는 “노후 보일러를 친환경 보일러로 교체하면 미세먼지 및 대기오염물질을 줄이는 데 기여할 수 있다”며 시민들의 적극적인 참여를 부탁했다.
