▲ 김해시 개발제한구역 주민지원사업 조속 추진

[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시는 올해 18억원을 투입하는 개발제한구역 내 주민지원사업으로 삶의 질을 높인다고 10일 밝혔다.

 

주요 사업은 화목4통 농기계 보관창고 정비를 비롯해 지나마을 배수로 등 농로와 용배수로 정비이다.

 

특히 사전 행정절차 이행과 실시설계용역을 완료, 조기에 사업을 발주해 지역경제 활성화에 기여한다.

 

김해시는 지난 2001년부터 개발제한구역 특별법에 따라 개발제한구역 내 엄격한 규제로 인한 낙후된 주민 삶의 질 향상과 지역 균형 발전을 위해 주민지원사업을 시행하고 있다.

 

지난해까지 587억원을 투입해 마을회관과 공동창고 건립, 마을주차장과 소공원 조성, 농로와 용배수로 정비 등 기반시설을 확충했다.

 

또 장유 대청계곡, 진영 서천저수지, 진례 신안저수지, 신어산 등에 누리길을 조성해 힐링 공간을 제공했다.

 

지난해 장유 대청폭포는 이러한 경관개선사업으로 많은 시민들이 일상 속 휴식을 즐기는 장소로 인기를 얻고 있다.

 

제종수 도시계획과장은 “개발제한구역 균형 발전과 주민들이 많은 편익을 누릴 수 있도록 다양한 사업 발굴을 독려하고 이번 주민지원사업도 차질 없이 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.
