[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도는 오는 12일부터 14일까지 서울 코엑스에서 열리는 ‘2025 호텔페어(HOTEL FAIR)’에 참가해 관광 투자유치 활동에 시동을 건다고 밝혔다.

경남도는 투자 홍보·상담 부스를 운영해 국내외 호텔·리조트 산업의 잠재 투자자를 대상으로 남해·사천·거제 등 천혜의 아름다운 자연경관을 가진 남해안권 관광투자지의 강점을 중점적으로 소개할 예정이다.

주최 측에서 주관하는 ‘호스피탈리티 인사이트 서밋 2025’와 ‘기업간 거래(B2B) 상담회’에도 적극 참여해 호텔 산업 트렌드를 파악하고 일대일 개별 상담 활동을 통해 투자자들과 직접 소통할 계획이다.

‘2025 호텔페어’는 대한민국 최대 규모의 숙박산업 전문 전시회로 호텔과 리조트 등 숙박산업 전반을 아우르는 행사다. 

이번 행사에는 약 150개 기업이 참가예정이며, 숙박산업 관계자 1만여 명이 방문할 것으로 예상하고 있다.

한편, 경남도는 오는 6월 ‘2025 코리아 호텔쇼’와 ‘한국 호텔&리조트 투자 컨퍼런스(SHIC)’에도 참여해, 국내외 주요 관광 투자자를 대상으로 경상남도 숨겨진 관광 보물을 홍보할 예정이다.

경남도는 이번 호텔페어 참가를 통해 남해안의 뛰어난 관광 잠재력을 국내외에 알리고, 지속적인 투자 유치로 지역 관광산업 발전과 경제 활성화에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

Gyeongnam Province announced that it will participate in the ‘2025 Hotel Fair’ held at Seoul COEX from the 12th to the 14th to kick off tourism investment attraction activities.

Gyeongnam Province will operate an investment promotion and consultation booth to introduce the strengths of the southern coastal tourism investment sites with beautiful natural scenery such as Namhae, Sacheon, and Geoje to potential domestic and foreign hotel and resort industry investors.
