[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도는 최근 급격한 한파의 영향으로 수온이 지속적으로 하강하여 10일 오전 11시부로 도내 사천만, 강진만 해역에 올해 첫 저수온 주의보가 발표됐다고 밝혔다.

 

지난달 9일 사천만, 강진만 해역 및 남해･하동군 연안에서 통영 수우도 서단까지 내려졌던 저수온 예비특보가, 이달 들어 강력해진 한파의 영향으로 사천만･강진만 해역에 저수온 주의보로 한 단계 격상돼 발령됐다.

 

도내 주요해역의 수온은 평균 8℃ 내외로 전년 대비 2℃ 정도 낮으며, 특히 수심이 낮은 남해 강진만 해역은 3℃ 내외로 도내에서 가장 낮은 수온을 보인다.

 

도는 도내 해역에 저수온 주의보가 발령됨에 따라 도와 시군에 비상대책상황실을 운영하고, 도 수산안전기술원·시군의 현장대응반을 통해 양식어장별 현장 밀착 지도로 저수온 피해 예방에 총력을 기울이고 있다.

 

저수온 특보는 발령되지 않았으나 현재 도내 전 해역의 수온이 지속적으로 하강하고 있어 통영･거제시, 남해군 등 해상가두리양식장이 밀집한 지역에도 △사전 출하 △사육밀도 조절 △사료 공급량 줄이기·공급 중단 △사육수심 조절 등 양식생물 관리 지도도 최선을 다하고 있다.

 

한편, 도는 지난해 12월 저수온 피해 예방 계획을 수립해 도내 저수온 중점관리해역 13곳을 선정해 관리하고 있으며, 돔류･쥐치 등 저수온 취약어종의 월동가능해역 이동, 조기출하 유도 등 피해예방을 위한 선제 조치를 하고 있다.

 

또한, 사회누리소통망(SNS)･문자서비스 등을 통해 도내 해역 수온 정보를 지속적으로 제공해 어업인들이 적기에 대응할 수 있도록 노력하고 있다.
