[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 국민의힘 경남도당은 지난 11일로 마감된 2025년 4월 2일 거제시장 보궐선거 후보자 명단을 공개했다.

후보자로는 권민호(69) 전 거제시장, 권태민(67) 전 거제시해양관광개발공사 상임이사, 김봉태(64) 전 밀양시 부시장, 박환기(62) 전 거제시 부시장, 정연송(65) 전 거제해양관광개발공사 사장, 천종완(66) 전 거제시의회 의원이다. 

오는 4월 2일 치러지는 거제시장 보궐선거는 박종우 전 시장의 공직선거법 위반이 지난해 11월 14일 확정되면서 치러지는 것으로 국민의힘에서는 6명의 후보가 신청했다.

한편 창원시 제12선거구에서도 광역의원 보궐선거가 치러지는데 정희성(37) 전 경남대학교 총학생회장, 홍현기(61) 현 (사)경상남도 학교운영위원연합회 이사장이 신청했다.

Gyeongnam Provincial Party of the People Power Party Reveals Candidates for Geoje Mayor

The Gyeongnam Provincial Party of the People Power Party has released a list of candidates for the Geoje Mayor by-election on April 2, 2025, which closed on the 11th.
