거창군은 본격적인 영농철을 맞아 여성농업인의 안전한 농기계 사용과 실질적인 역량 향상을 위해 농업기술센터 내 농기계교육장에서 농기계 안전교육을 실시했다고 28일 밝혔다.

 

이번 교육에는 여성농업인센터 및 관련 단체(한여농, 여성농민회, 생활개선회) 소속 회원 8명이 참석했으며, 도로교통법규 등 이론 교육이 진행됐다. 

 

또한, 여성농업인의 추천을 바탕으로 관리기·굴착기 등 실사용 빈도가 높은 기종을 선정해 조작법과 정비 요령에 대한 실습 교육도 병행하여 참석자들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다.

거창지역자활센터는 한국자활복지개발원이 주관한 ‘2025년 중앙자활자금 사업장환경 개선 및 센터 시설개선 지원사업’ 공모에 최종 선정되어 총 25,899,000원의 지원금을 확보했다고 밝혔다.

이번 사업 선정으로 거창지역자활센터는 자활근로 영농사업단의 낙후된 작업환경과 시설을 대대적으로 개선할 수 있게 됐다.

 

영농사업단은 자활센터 설립 초기부터 운영되어 왔으며, 현재 거창군 농업기술센터로부터 임대한 약 1,200평 부지에 6동의 노후 비닐하우스를 활용해 작물을 재배하고 있다.

 

센터는 이번 지원금을 활용하여 노후화된 비닐하우스의 비닐을 전면 교체하고, 여름철 고온에 대비한 차광막 설치를 통해 작업환경을 개선할 예정이다. 

 

또한, 영농사업단 사무동의 전기배선 공사도 함께 진행해 안전하고 효율적인 업무환경 조성할 계획이다.
