[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 30일 시청 제3 회의실에서 신규 공무원 및 청원경찰을 대상으로 임용장 수여식을 개최했다. 

이번 임용식에서는 ▲행정 22명 ▲공업 4명 ▲시설 1명 ▲방송통신 1명 ▲운전 3명 등 총 5개 직렬 31명의 신규 공무원과 청원경찰 5명이 새롭게 임용됐다.

임용식은 임용장 수여, 신규 공무원 선서, 기념촬영 등의 순으로 진행되었으며, 신규 임용자들은 선서문을 낭독하며 “시민의 권익과 공익을 최우선으로 삼고, 시민과 소통하는 청렴한 공무원으로 나아갈 것”을 다짐했다.

장금용 권한대행은 “어려운 임용 시험을 통과해 공직에 첫발을 내딛는 여러분을 진심으로 환영한다”며 “창원특례시의 미래를 이끌어갈 혁신의 주역으로서 자긍심을 가지고 시민을 위한 소임에 최선을 다해주길 바란다”고 당부했다. 

한편 신규 공무원들은 7월 1일자로 창원특례시 직속기관 및 사업소, 각 구청과 읍‧면‧동에 배치되며, 시정 전반과 공직문화에 대한 사전교육을 받은 후 본격적인 대민행정을 펼쳐갈 예정이다.
