[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 지난 30일 오후 8시 30분 진해루 앞 해상에서 개최된 ‘제15회 창원시민의 날 기념 멀티미디어 해상 불꽃쇼’를 시민과 관람객의 뜨거운 호응 속에 성황리에 마무리되었다고 1일 밝혔다. 

창원시는 지난 2010년 7월 1일 통합 창원시 탄생을 기념하기 위해 매년 7월 1일을 창원시민의 날로 지정하고, 이를 기념하기 위해 불꽃쇼 등 다채로운 행사로 시민들과 함께 축하하고 있다.

이날 행사는 오후 7시 30분, 해군교육사령부 국악대 판굿을 시작으로, 군항제 가요제 수상자인 홍향희·지대한의 무대와 벚소리 합창단의 따뜻한 하모니, 해군교육사령부 군악대 뮤지컬공연, 모듬북 연주로 흥겨운 문화예술의 장을 펼쳤다. 

이어 오후 8시 40분부터 진해 앞바다를 배경으로 음악, 조명, 특수효과를 결합한 장엄한 멀티미디어 불꽃쇼가 20분간 진행되었으며, 시민들은 그동안 쌓였던 스트레스를 풀며, 함성과 뜨거운 박수로 축제를 즐겼다.
