▲ 경남농협 금융계열사 직원합동 수해복구 구슬땀 흘려

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] NH농협은행 경남본부와 경남 관내 농협 금융계열사(농협생명, 농협손해, NH투자증권, NH캐피탈, 심사센터 등)는 5일 집중호우로 큰 피해를 입은 합천군을 찾아 수해복구를 위한 일손돕기와 물품 지원을 실시했다.

 

이번 경남농협 금융계열사 직원합동 수해복구의 날에는 NH농협은행 경남본부를 주축으로 경남 관내 금융계열사 임직원 70여 명이 참여하여 수해피해 농가 하우스 비닐 제거, 복구 및 농자재 정비작업 등을 집중적으로 진행했다.

 

특히, 이번 행사는 수해로 어려움을 겪고 있는 지역민들을 위해 2012년 농협 사업구조개편 이후 최초로 경남 관내 농협금융 전 계열사가 함께 뜻을 모아 합동 일손돕기를 펼쳐 눈길을 끌었다.

 

합동 일손돕기 뿐만 아니라 피해 농가와 수재민들을 위한 2,400만원 상당의 간편식(삼계탕, 쌀국수)을 합천새남부농협에 함께 지원하여 그 의미를 더했다.

 

앞서 경남농협은 지난 7월 집중호우 발생 직후부터 3,200여명의 인력지원, 1억원 상당 긴급구호물품 지원, 약 6,000만원 규모 피해복구 중장비 투입, 농협손해 피해조사 긴급 파견 등을 지원한 바 있다.

 

또한, 범농협 차원에서도 50억원 성금 기부, 2,000억원 규모 무이자 재해자금 지원, 피해고객 각종 금융지원(여신 지원, 카드 청구 및 대출이자·보험료 납입 유예, 수수료 면제 등), 피해지역 고향사랑기부 캠페인, 범농협 임직원 성금모금 등 재난 피해복구 지원과 지역민의 일상회복을 위해 농협 전 조직이 전방위적으로 나서고 있다.

 

이번 합동 일손돕기에 참여한 NH투자증권 구종근 창원WM센터장은 “수해현장에서 직접 땀 흘리며 일하니 더없이 보람차고 의미있는 하루가 되었고 특히, 진심을 가지고 봉사하는 농협가족들을 보니 앞으로 경남농협의 일원으로서 지역발전에 더욱 최선을 다해야겠다는 생각이 들었다.”고 소회를 밝혔다.
