[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 경남FC 소속 여성 아마추어 축구팀 레드로즈FC가 ’2025 K리그 퀸컵‘ 출사표를 던졌다.

 

경남은 지난 31일 부천과의 홈경기 하프타임 행사로 레드로즈FC의 2025 K리그 퀸컵 출정식 행사를 진행했다.

 

레드로즈FC는 10대부터 40대까지 다양한 연령대와 직업을 가진 여성들이 경남FC와 축구를 사랑하는 마음으로 뭉쳤다. 

 

선수들은 매주 2회 이상의 훈련에 자발적으로 참여하는 열정과 도내 풋살대회 참가를 통해 실력을 갈고닦아왔다.

 

오는 9월 5일부터 7일까지 춘천 송암스포츠타운 에어돔에서 열리는 2025 K리그 퀸컵은 레드로즈FC를 포함, K리그 26개 구단 소속 여자축구팀과 SBS 예능 ’골 때리는 그녀들‘ 팀까지 총 27개 팀이 참가해 열띤 경쟁을 펼칠 예정이다.

 

레드로즈FC는 수원삼성블루윙즈, 인천유나이티드 여자축구팀과 함께 A조에 속해 정규라운드 일정을 치른다. 이후 결과에 따라 스플릿 라운드를 치를 예정이다.

 

한편, 이날 출정식에는 지난 30일 진행된 ’2025 우먼 피치 풋살대회‘ 시상식도 함께 진행됐다.
