[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도는 오는 추석 연휴기간 동안 도내 모든 민자도로 통행료를 면제한다고 밝혔다.

 

도는 연휴 기간 귀성객의 경제적 부담을 줄이고, 더 많은 관광객이 경남을 방문할 수 있도록 10월 4일 0시부터 7일 24시까지 총 4일간 민자도로의 통행료를 면제한다.

 

통행료 면제 대상 민자도로는 △마창대교 △거가대교 △창원~부산 간(불모산터널) 도로 3곳이다. 

 

총 65만여 대의 차량이 이용해, 약 16억 원 규모의 무료 통행 혜택이 발생할 것으로 예상된다. 이 비용은 전액 도비로 지원할 예정이다.

 

창원시가 관리하는 △팔룡터널 △지개~남산 간 도로는 창원시가 통행료를 부담해 무료로 운영된다.

 

경남도는 도로 이용자들이 혜택을 사전에 인지하고 불편없이 이용할 수 있도록, 민자도로 내 도로 전광판 안내, 현수막 게시, 도 홈페이지·사회누리소통망(SNS) 등 다양한 온오프라인 매체를 활용해 사전 홍보할 예정이다.
