[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 대한민국 대표 가을 축제인 ‘2025 진주남강유등축제’가 오는 10월 4일부터 19일까지 16일간 진주성과 남강 일원에서 개최한다. 

 

이번 축제는 ‘역사의 강, 평화를 담다’를 주제로, 전통 유등과 첨단 기술이 결합된 다채로운 콘텐츠가 준비됐다.

 

축제는 7만여 개의 유등이 진주의 밤을 밝히며 장관을 이루고, 움직이는 유등과 3D 홀로그램을 접목한 유등, 시민이 직접 제작한 유등까지 더해져 새롭고 풍성한 볼거리를 선사한다. 

 

또 축제 개막일과 18일에는 드론쇼와 불꽃놀이가 어우러진 대규모 퍼포먼스가 펼쳐진다.

 

또한 올해는 수상드론과 불꽃드론이 새롭게 선보이며, 라이트 쇼까지 결합해 한층 화려한 야간 공연을 연출한다. 

 

이 밖에도 드론쇼는 8일, 불꽃놀이는 10일에 각각 진행돼 가을밤 축제 분위기를 한껏 끌어올릴 예정이다.

 

진주시는 관람객 안전과 편의를 위해 실시간 거리 밀집도와 축제장 정보를 제공하는 ‘스마트 지도 서비스’, QR코드를 활용한 ‘간편 결제 서비스’를 도입한다.
