[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 21개국이 참여하는 전통의상‧음악‧춤의 향연과 1.6km 다문화 퍼레이드가 펼쳐지는 국내 최대 규모의 문화다양성 축제 ‘2025 맘프(MAMF) 행사가 오는 24일부터 26일까지 창원 용지문화공원 일원에서 열린다.

 

올해 맘프는 ‘20년의 동행, 다름을 잊고 다음을 잇다’라는 주제로, 지난 20년간 쌓아온 문화교류의 성과와 함께 앞으로의 새로운 20년을 향한 비전을 제시한다.

 

2005년 지역 행사로 시작한 맘프는 이제는 매년 25만 명 이상이 참여하는 국내 최대 문화다양성 축제로 누적 방문객 수는 수백만 명에 이르며 공연, 체험, 학술 교류 등을 아우르는 종합 축제로 성장했다.

 

올해 주빈국은 ‘몽골’로 한국-몽골 수교 35주년을 기념해 24일~25일 오후 2시부터 3시 30분까지 성산아트홀에서 유네스코 인류무형유산으로 지정된 ‘마두금(말머리 바이올린)’을 중심으로 ‘몽골 국립 마두금 오케스트라’와 ‘한국예술종합학교 무용원 및 전통예술원’과의 협연 무대 등의 특별 문화공연 프로그램이 준비된다.

 

이와 함께 25일과 26일 양일간 포정사 공원에서는 ‘몽골 나담축제’를 테마로 한-몽 전통 씨름(부흐)대회와 함께 게르, 샤가이, 활쏘기 등 전통문화 체험 프로그램이 운영된다.

 

개막식은 24일 오후 6시 30분 용지문화공원 메인무대에서 열린다. 개막식에는 모두합창단, 이승환밴드, 뮤지컬 배우 강홍석이 출연하는 축하공연이 축제 분위기를 한껏 끌어올릴 예정이다.

 

25일 오전 10시에는 용지문화공원에서 다문화 그림그리기 대회가 열리며, 오후 6시 30분부터는 용지문화공원 메인무대에서 ‘대한민국 이주민 가요제’가 열린다.

 

26일에는 맘프를 참여하는 가수·예술인들의 공연과 교민회·유학생들의 특별한 무대가 펼쳐지는 ‘마이그런츠 아리랑’이 오전 10시부터 오후 3시까지 축제장 곳곳에서 국가별로 동시에 진행된다.

 

오후 4시에는 맘프 축제의 백미인 ‘문화다양성 퍼레이드’가 진행되며 21개국 21개 팀이 참여할 예정으로 이주민들이 각국의 전통의상과 춤, 음악으로 다채로운 문화를 선보인다.

 

올해 축제의 대미는 용지문화공원에서 열리는 베트남, 우즈베키스탄 등 9개 아시아 국가 대표 뮤지션들이 펼치는 ‘월드 뮤직콘서트’가 장식한다.
