[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시 지역자율방재단이 창단 20주년을 맞은 전국 단위 대회에서 '재난 관리 민간 분야의 모범'으로 우뚝 섰다. 

 

방재단은 16일 충북 제천시 세명대학교에서 열린 행정안전부 주관 '자율방재단 20주년 기념 전진대회'에서 ‘국가재난관리 유공(민간분야)’ 우수단체로 선정되어 행정안전부장관 표창을 수상하는 영예를 안았다.

 

이번 전진대회는 2006년 전국 지역자율방재단 창설 이후 처음으로 대규모로 개최된 행사로, 전국 자율방재단의 헌신적인 노고를 격려하고 향후 비전과 역할을 공유하는 뜻깊은 자리였다. 창원시 방재단이 이 역사적인 무대에서 전국 최고 수준의 역량을 공식적으로 인정받은 것이다.
