[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 제14회 경남수산인 한마음대회가 25일 거제스포츠파크에서 박명균 도 행정부지사, 변광용 거제시장, 백수명 도의회 농해양수산위원장, 김기성 수협중앙회 대표이사, 손원실 경남수협장협의회장, 도내 수산인 2천여 명이 참석한 가운데 열렸다. 

 

‘수산인의 날’은 수산업과 어촌의 소중함을 알리고, 수산인의 긍지와 자부심을 높이기 위해 2012년부터 매년 4월 1일을 국가기념일로 지정해 기념행사를 열고 있다.

 

도내 7개 연안 시군에서 번갈아 개최하는 경남수산인 한마음대회를 통해 수산인의 화합과 단결을 도모하고 있다.

 

지난 3월 대형 산불 발생으로 연기되어, 이날 열린 제14회 경남수산인 한마음대회는 경남수협장협의회가 주최, 한마음대회 추진위원회가 주관, 경상남도·거제시·수협중앙회가 후원했다. 

 

이날 행사에는 고령화로 인한 어촌 인력난 해소에 기여하고 있는 외국인 어업종사자 30여 명이 초청돼 의미를 더했다. 

 

인도네시아 국적의 구스난토(GUSNANTO) 씨(정치망어업, 12년 종사)와 스리랑카 국적의 푸시파 쿠마라(PUSHPAKUMARA) 씨(굴 양식업, 8년 종사)가 각각 도지사 표창과 수협중앙회 표창을 받아 최초의 외국인 근로자 수상으로, 눈길을 끌었다.

 

박명균 행정부지사는 “올해는 유난히 어업재해가 많았음에도 바다를 지키며 경남 수산업의 버팀목이 된 수산인들에게 감사드린다”고 전했다.

The Gyeongnam Fisheries Association's Unity Rally, held alternately in each of the province's seven coastal cities and counties, promotes harmony and unity among fisheries association members.

 

The 14th Gyeongnam Fisheries Workers' Unity Festival, postponed in March due to a large-scale forest fire, was hosted by the Gyeongnam Fisheries Cooperatives Association, organized by the Unity Festival Organizing Committee, and sponsored by Gyeongsangnam-do Province, Geoje City, and the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives.

Gusnanto, an Indonesian national (12 years in set-net fishing) and Pushpa Kumara, a Sri Lankan national (8 years in oyster farming), received the Governor's Award and the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperatives Award, respectively, making them the first foreign workers to receive the award.
