[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시립국악관현악단은 지난 24일 서울 세종문화회관에서 열린 ‘2025 대한민국국악관현악축제’에 참가해 수준 높은 연주로 문화예술 도시 진주의 품격을 드높였다.

이번 축제는 올해 3회째로 지난15일부터 25일까지 전국 10개 국공립 국악단이 참여한 국내 최대 규모의 국악관현악 행사로, 진주시립국악관현악단은 올해 처음 참가했다.

이날 공연은 이건석 상임지휘자의 지휘 아래 ‘진주 유등의 빛, 세상을 밝히다’를 주제로 펼쳐졌으며, 가야금 연주자 손정화 교수와 판소리 명창 채수정 교수가 협연해 무대를 빛냈다.

특히 마지막 곡 ‘태양의 신(The Sol)’은 흥겨운 사물놀이 리듬과 웅장한 선율이 어우러져 관객들의 환호와 박수갈채를 받으며 공연의 대미를 장식했다.
