[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 5일 10시께 진주종합경기장 일원에서 ‘2025 진주국제농식품박람회’ 개막식을 열고, 오는 9일까지 5일간의 공식 일정을 진행한다고 밝혔다.

 

시는 올해 13회째를 맞은 이번 박람회를 ‘농업과 함께하는 힐링 나들이’라는 슬로건 으로 개최하며 농업 선진화와 산업화에 앞장서고 있다.

 

이번 박람회는 16개국 261개사, 519개 부스를 마련해 역대 최대 규모로 운영하고 있으며 다양한 전시와 체험프로그램으로 관람객 참여를 유도하고 있다.

 

또 진주시는 같은 장소에서 열리는 2025 진주국화작품전시회와 연계해 향긋한 국화 향기 속에서 시민들이 자연과 함께하는 힐링을 느낄 수 있도록 마련했다.

 

진주시는 7개의 대형전시관 중 종자생명관에 고구마, 콩, 참깨, 수수 등 토종종자 130종 710점을 전시하고, 종자 체험행사를 진행해 우수성을 알린다.

 

시는 홍보관을 통해 경남도, 경상국립대, 농산물품질관리원, 국립진주박물관 등과 협력해 지역 농업정책과 연구 성과를 시민들에게 소개한다.

 

또한 시는 녹색식품1·2관에서 경남과 남해안 남중권의 우수 농식품을 전시·판매하고, 농기자재관에서 생활형 농기자재와 소형 농기계를 선보인다.

 

게다가 진주시는 농업체험1관에서 반려식물 만들기, 컵케이크·딸기청 만들기 등 16개 체험프로그램을 운영해 가족 단위 관람객들에게 즐거움을 선사한다.

 

농업체험2관은 채소 오케스트라, 연극, 약초 향주머니, 테라리움 화분 만들기 등 다양한 프로그램을 마련해 시민 참여형 체험장을 조성했다.

 

특히 진주시는 주말인 오는 8일과 9일 야외무대에서 진주검무, 삼천포농악, 진주오광대 등 전통예술 공연과 트로트 가수 오유진·숙행·양지원의 무대를 선보인다.
