창원특례시는 6일, 덴마크 의회 사절단이 한국 방위산업의 현황과 글로벌 협력 가능성을 모색하기 위해 창원을 찾았다고 밝혔다. 이번 사절단은 피터 율-옌센 덴마크 NATO 및 OSCE 의회 위원장을 비롯한 6명의 핵심 의원들과 미카엘 헴니티 빈터 주한 덴마크 대사가 동행했다.

 

이번 방문은 지난 4월 주한 외국무관단 네트워킹 행사에서 창원을 방문했던 덴마크 국방무관의 긍정적인 평가와 인연이 계기가 되어 추진됐다. 덴마크 의회 사절단은 창원 방문 기간 동안 한국 방위산업의 심장부를 체험할 계획이다.
