거창군은 6일, 한국농어촌공사 거창·함양지사와 사업 추진의 효율성을 높이기 위한 위·수탁 협약식을 개최하며 사업 성공에 대한 강력한 의지를 표명했다.

 

이날 협약식에는 구인모 거창군수, 정명석 한국농어촌공사 거창·함양지사장, 그리고 청년·여성농업인 대표들이 참석해 지역 농업의 혁신을 위한 협력 체계를 공고히 했다.

 

이번 사업은 지난 10월 행정안전부 중앙투자심사를 통과하며 추진 동력을 확보했다. 국비 50%, 도비 15%, 군비 35%로 구성된 총 200억 원의 사업비가 투입되어 거창읍 대평리 일원 총 12ha 부지에 생산-유통-교육-연구 기능을 연계한 복합형 스마트농업 기반이 조성된다.

 

거창군은 이번 사업이 완료되면 청년 농업인들이 첨단 시설에 입주하여 안정적으로 스마트농업을 시작하고, 지역 농업에 새로운 활력을 불어넣을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
