보건복지부, KBS, 사회복지공동모금회가 공동 주최하는 이 시상식은 나눔과 봉사 활동을 통해 사회통합에 기여한 공로자를 발굴하고 포상하는 나눔 분야 최고 권위의 행사다.

이번 수상으로 김해지역의 활발하고 헌신적인 나눔 문화 수준이 다시 한번 입증됐다. 수상의 영광을 안은 주역들은 ▲단체 부문, (사)김해시자원봉사단체협의회로 지역 자원봉사 활동을 이끌고 다양한 봉사단체 간의 협력 체계를 구축하여 복지 사각지대 해소에 기여한 공로를 인정받았다. ▲개인 부문, 정철호 씨 (소속: (사)교통사고피해자지원 희망봉사단), 교통사고 피해자와 소외계층을 위한 꾸준하고 헌신적인 봉사활동으로 귀감이 되었다. ▲개인 부문, 이순재 씨 (소속: 김해시종합사회복지관), 복지관을 중심으로 지역 주민의 복지 향상과 나눔 문화 확산에 크게 기여했다.
