[브레이크뉴스=황철성 기자] 경남농협이 범농협 차원으로 추진되고 있는 농업·농촌 가치확산을 위한 '농심천심(農心天心)운동’의 일환으로 본격적인 수확기를 맞아 일손부족으로 어려움을 겪는 농가를 지원하기 위해 관내 기업과 대학생들이 농촌일손 돕기에 나섰다. 

 

경남농협은 17일  LG전자 Life’s Good 봉사단과 함께 김해시 진영읍 일대 단감 농가를 찾아 농촌일손돕기를 실시했다.

앞선 15일에는 경상국립대학교 대학생 100여명과 함께 산청군 일대 농가를 방문해 감 수확 농촌일손돕기를 실시했다.

 

참여자들은 단감 수확, 선별작업 등 다양한 농작업을 도우며 구슬땀을 흘렸다. 

 

농가주는 “수확 시기에 맞춰 일손이 필요한 때에 큰 도움을 받았다”며 감사의 뜻을 전했다.

 

류길년 본부장은 “수확기 인력 부족으로 어려움을 겪는 농가에 조금이나마 도움이 되길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 기업 및 지역사회와 협력해 지속적인 농촌 지원 활동을 펼쳐 나가겠다”고 말했다.

 

 LG전자 Life’s Good 봉사단 김성우 상무는 “LG전자는 농가와 지역사회를 위한 다양한 사회공헌 활동을 활발히 전개하고 있다”며, “앞으로도 이러한 노력을 계속 이어갈 것이다”고 밝혔다.
