[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 보건복지부가 주관한 2025년 전국민 마음투자 지원사업 평가에서 전국 229개 시군구 가운데 우수 지자체로 선정고 24일 밝혔다.

이번 평가는 서비스 신청률과 전년 대비 이용 증가율, 상담 제공기관 등록 현황 등을 종합적으로 분석해 진행, 진주시는 전반적인 상담서비스 운영 성과에서 높은 평가를 받았다.

전국민 마음투자 지원사업은 우울과 불안 등 정서적 어려움을 겪는 시민에게 전문 심리상담 바우처를 제공해 정신질환을 예방하고 조기 발견을 돕기 위해 지난해 7월부터 시행되고 있다.

시는 관내 10개 심리상담 기관을 제공기관으로 등록·운영하며 적극적인 홍보와 접근성 강화로 이용률을 높이는 등 시민 마음건강 돌봄과 회복을 위한 정책 추진에 힘쓰고 있다.

진주시 관계자는“ 앞으로도 심리상담 지원을 확대해 시민들이 일상 속 정서적 안정을 되찾고, 건강한 삶을 이어갈 수 있도록 마음건강 정책을 지속적으로 강화해 나갈 계획이다”고 말했다.
