[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 제25대 진주시 부시장으로 박일동 전 경상남도 문화체육국장이 취임했다.

박일동 부시장은 30일 조규일 진주시장으로부터 임용장을 교부받았으며, 오는 2026년 1월 2일 시무식 참석을 시작으로 본격적인 업무에 들어간다.

박 부시장은 산청 출신으로 지난 2003년 지방행정고시에 합격, 지난 2004년 경남도에서 공직 생활을 시작했으며, 서부대개발과장, 고성군 부군수, 교통건설국장, 보건의료국장 등을 역임했다.

이후 그는 문화체육국장으로 근무 중 이번 경상남도의 인사 발령에 따라 제25대 진주시 부시장으로 임명됐다.
