[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시 경제·산업·정책 등 다양한 분야의 정보를 제공하며 지역 기업의 경쟁력 강화를 위한 올해 첫 '김해경제포럼'이 14일 김해아이스퀘어호텔 3층 그랜드볼룸에서 개최됐다.

 

이날 관내 기업체, 기관·단체 관계자, 시민 등 120여 명이 참석한 가운데 김해상공회의소 주최·주관으로 진행됐다.

 

올해부터 포럼 주관기관이 김해의생명산업진흥원에서 김해상공회의소로 변경되면서 기존의 익숙한 틀을 넘어 지역 기업의 참여를 확대하고, 산·학·관 협력의 외연을 넓혀 실질적인 경제 네트워크와 시너지를 창출하는 포럼으로 발전해 나간다.

 

이에 김해시는 2026년부터 김해상공회의소에 보조금을 지원하며, 후원기관으로서 지역경제 활성화에 함께 힘을 보탠다.

 

이날 올해 첫 포럼 강연자로 나선 KAIST 문술미래전략대학원 서용석 교수는 ‘AI 대전환 시대가 요구하는 조직 변화와 리더십’을 주제로, AI 도입은 단순한 업무 자동화를 넘어 조직 전체를 재설계하는 과정이라고 설명했다. 

 

특히 리더는 기술을 단순히 도입하는 역할에 그치는 것이 아니라 구성원들이 기술 변화에 적응하고 이를 효과적으로 활용할 수 있도록 조직 문화와 학습 환경을 조성해야 한다고 강조했다.

 

아울러 AI 기술이 조직 실무에 어떻게 적용될 수 있는지에 대한 구체적인 활용 방향을 제시하는 한편, 기술 활용의 효율성뿐만 아니라 신뢰성과 공정성을 보장하는 시스템 설계의 중요성을 함께 당부했다.

 

홍태용 시장은 인사말에서 "변화하지 않으면 사라진다는 격언이 있듯이 지금 우리는 끊임없는 변화와 도전의 시대를 살아가고 있다. 김해경제포럼이 더 폭넓은 강사진과 실질적인 콘텐츠로 지역 기업인들에게 실질적인 도움이 되는 포럼으로 발전하길 바란다”고 말했다.

 

한편, 김해경제포럼은 2003년부터 매월 개최되고 있으며, 매월 둘째 주 수요일 오전 7시 아이스퀘어호텔에서 개최된다.
