[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남의 기술 지경남테크노파크는 6일 본부동 대강당에서 기업 관계자 150여 명이 참석한 가운데 ‘2026 지역혁신선도기업 R&D 설명회’를 열고 본격적인 지원 사격에 나섰다.

 

이번 설명회는 급변하는 글로벌 기술 트렌드와 산업 개편에 선제적으로 대응하기 위해 예년보다 일정을 앞당겨 개최하며 기업들이 충분한 기획 시간을 확보할 수 있도록 했다.

 

경남 주력산업에 특화된 기술 전문가들이 컨설팅 위원으로 참여해 기업 관계자들과 1:1로 마주 앉았다. 아이템 선정부터 사업계획서 작성 전략까지 실전 노하우를 직접 전수하며 과제 기획의 '디테일'을 높이는 데 집중했다.

 

경남TP는 더 많은 유망 기업을 발굴하기 위해 지원 자격을 다양화 했다. 기존에는 매출액과 매출 증가율 등 외형적 성장에 초점을 맞췄으나, 올해는 ‘R&D 집약도(매출 대비 R&D 비중)’라는 새로운 기준을 추가했다.

 

특히 R&D 집약도가 5% 이상인 기술 집약형 기업의 경우, 매출액 기준이 다소 미흡하더라도 사업에 참여할 수 있도록 길을 열어주었다. 이는 외형은 작지만 내실 있는 기술력을 갖춘 ‘강소기업’들을 지역 혁신의 주역으로 육성하겠다는 의지를 반영했다.

 

경남TP는 이번 설명회를 시작으로 도내 기업들이 변화하는 산업 환경에서 도태되지 않고 독보적인 기술 경쟁력을 확보할 수 있도록 다각적인 지원 체계를 가동할 방침이다.

 

경남TP 김정환 원장은 “이번 R&D 산업군 개편은 경남의 미래먹거리와 직결되는 중요한 변화”라며 “체계적인 R&D 지원을 통해 지역을 대표하는 선도기업을 지속적으로 육성해 나가겠다”고 전했다.

  

한편 경남TP는 추가 수요를 반영해 오는 12일 오후 2시 경남TP 항공우주본부에서 설명회를 추가 개최할 예정이다. 과제신청을 희망하는 기업은 3월 3일 18시까지 중소기업기술개발사업 종합관리시스템(www.smtech.go.kr)을 통해 온라인으로 신청할 수 있다.
