[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 의령군은 지역사회 통합돌봄 본사업 시행 초기부터 전국 상위권 수준의 성과를 보이며 사업 추진에 속도를 내고 있다.

 

군은 노인인구 1만 명당 신청자 수 29.8명을 기록하며 전국 9위를 차지했다.

 

이는 읍·면 단위에서 재가급여자, 등급외자, 서비스 미이용자, 고독사 위험군 등을 대상으로 선제적인 발굴 활동을 추진한 결과로, 사업 초기부터 현장 중심 대응이 효과를 거둔 것으로 분석된다.

 

군은 본사업 시행 이전부터 읍·면 담당자와 유관기관을 대상으로 통합돌봄사업 교육을 실시하는 등 사전 준비를 강화해 왔다.

 

또한 최근 통합지원회의를 통해 발굴 대상자에 대한 통합판정과 맞춤형 서비스 연계 방안을 논의하고, 기관 간 협업체계를 점검하는 등 본격적인 사업 운영 기반을 다지고 있다.

 

통합돌봄은 돌봄이 필요한 노인과 장애인이 기존 거주지에서 생활할 수 있도록 보건의료, 건강관리, 장기요양, 일상생활 지원 등을 통합 제공하는 제도다.

 

군 관계자는 “초기 성과를 바탕으로 현장 대응을 더욱 강화하고 있다”며 “앞으로도 촘촘한 돌봄체계를 구축해 군민이 체감할 수 있는 서비스를 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
