이번 6기 발대식에서는 기존의 일방향적인 전달 방식에서 벗어난 ‘약속 만들기’ 워크숍이었다. 참가 학생들은 센터가 정해준 규칙을 따르는 대신, 스스로 인권지킴이로서 지켜야 할 가치와 활동 원칙을 논의하고 확정했다. 인권이라는 추상적인 개념을 실질적인 ‘우리의 약속’으로 치환하며, 인권 존중의 가치를 몸소 체험하는 시간을 가졌다.
