민선 7·8기를 거치며 진주의 미래 성장 기반을 차근차근 준비해왔다. 이제는 원도심 재도약과 우주항공 산업 육성, 공공기관 이전 등 핵심 사업을 완성해야 할 중요한 시점이라고 생각한다. 시민들이 실제 생활에서 변화를 체감할 수 있도록 책임 있게 시정을 이어가겠다.

시민들께서 정당보다 실질적인 성과와 능력을 더 중요하게 평가하고 계신다고 본다. 중앙 정치의 대립보다 시민 삶과 지역 발전에 집중해온 점이 긍정적으로 받아들여지고 있다고 생각한다. 앞으로도 시민만 바라보며 책임 있는 행정을 펼쳐가겠다.
