[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 한경호 국민의힘 후보는 6·3 지방선거를 앞두고 진주시사회복지정책토론회에서 “경제와 복지가 선순환하는 구조를 만들겠다”며 시민이 체감하는 생활밀착형 복지행정 추진 의지를 20일 밝혔다.

 

한경호 후보는 모두발언에서 기획재정부와 방위사업청 등 중앙부처 공직 경험을 언급하며 잘사는 진주를 만들어 재정을 확대하고 이를 다시 시민 복지에 투자하는 구조를 만들겠다고 강조했다.

 

또 한 후보는 복지는 단순한 지원이 아니라 시민의 삶을 지키는 가장 중요한 투자로 아이 키우기 좋은 도시와 어르신이 존중받는 도시, 장애인과 가족이 행복한 도시를 만들겠다고 약속했다.

 

또한 그는 출산·보육 정책과 관련해 둘째·셋째 자녀 출산장려금 확대와 맞벌이 가정을 위한 10시간 책임보육 시스템 구축을 설명하며 출산과 돌봄 인프라 확대 의지를 강하게  피력했다.

 

한경호 후보는 노인복지 정책으로 단순 생계지원이 아닌 삶의 질 중심 복지와 실버관광여행사와 파크골프 전문인력 양성 등 고부가가치형 노인일자리 확대 정책에 대해서도 강하게 제시했다.

 

이어 한 후보는 장애인 복지 분야에서 기존 장애인종합복지관의 한계를 언급하며 발달장애인 전문복지관 건립 필요성을 강조하며 장애인 이동권 확대와 장애인 일자리 확대 정책도 병행 추진하겠다고 전했다.

 

한 후보는 사회복지시설 인력과 인건비 가이드라인 준수 문제는 “우선 실태조사와 원인분석이 필요하다”며 TF를 구성해 인건비와 수당, 처우개선비 등을 종합적으로 검토하겠다고 설명했다.

 

게다가 한경호 후보는 장애인 가족 돌봄 부담 문제는 야간과 주말, 공휴일에도 긴급돌봄이 가능한 24시간 돌봄체계를 구축하고 공공산후조리원 설치도 정촌의료원 연계와 별도 설치 방안을 검토한다고 말했다.

 

특히 한 후보는 공공도서관 야간 운영 확대와 어린이집 선임교사 배치, 찾아가는 이동진료 확대 등을 통해 복지 사각지대를 줄이고 건강·돌봄·일자리 기능을 연계한 통합돌봄체계 구축 필요성도 강조했다.
