창원시체육회(회장 박성호)는 27일 오전 11시 창원 힐스카이웨딩&컨벤션에서 '제65회 경상남도민체육대회 선수단 해단식 및 체육 장학생 격려회'를 개최했다.

 

이번 행사는 지난 4월 함안군과 창녕군 일원에서 열린 도민체전에서 창원의 위상을 드높인 선수단의 노고를 치하하고, 미래 체육계를 이끌어갈 인재들을 격려하기 위해 마련됐다. 현장에는 박성호 창원시체육회장, 김만기 창원특례시 문화관광체육국장을 비롯해 종목별 단체 임원, 지도자, 체육 장학생 등 100여 명이 참석해 자리를 빛냈다.

 

창원시는 관내 고등부, 대학부, 시청 직장운동경기부 등 탄탄한 체육 인프라를 바탕으로 도내 최대 규모인 1,050명의 선수단을 구성해 35개(정식 32, 시범 3) 종목에 출전했다.
