[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시가 스마트폰 기반 가족 안부 확인 서비스인 ‘국민돌봄 AI’ 앱을 자체 개발해 무료 보급에 나섰다.

 

양산시는 1인 가구 증가와 가족 간 거리 문제로 인한 돌봄 공백 해소를 위해 보호자와 피보호자가 실시간으로 생활 상태를 확인할 수 있는 앱 서비스를 출시했다고 밝혔다.

 

앱은 전화번호 입력만으로 보호자와 피보호자 연결이 가능하며, 별도의 복잡한 인증 절차 없이 사용할 수 있도록 설계됐다.

 

보호자는 앱을 통해 대상자의 스마트폰 화면 켜짐·꺼짐 상태와 배터리 잔량, 충전 여부, 걸음 수 등을 실시간으로 확인할 수 있다. 이를 통해 기상 여부나 외출·활동 상태 등을 간접적으로 파악할 수 있도록 했다.

 

양산시는 위치 추적이나 통화 내용 등 민감 정보 수집 기능은 제외해 개인정보 침해 우려를 최소화했다고 설명했다.

 

또 보호자가 입력한 안부 메시지를 음성으로 전달하는 기능을 적용해 고령층과 디지털 취약계층의 접근성을 높였다.

 

이번 서비스는 외부 용역 없이 시 담당부서가 직접 기획부터 개발, 앱 마켓 등록까지 진행했다. 시는 자체 기술 활용으로 별도 예산 투입 없이 시스템을 구축했다고 밝혔다.

 

양산시는 향후 경로당과 디지털 배움터 등을 활용해 고령층 설치 지원을 확대하고, 이용자 의견을 반영해 기능을 고도화할 계획이다.

 

‘국민돌봄 AI’ 앱은 현재 Google Play 스토어에서 무료로 내려받을 수 있으며, 지역 제한 없이 누구나 이용 가능하다.
