[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 제9회 전국동시지방선거 사전투표가 29일 경남지역 305개 사전투표소에서 일제히 시작됐다.

 

경상남도에 따르면 이날 오전 10시 기준 도내 사전투표율은 2.9%로 집계됐다. 이는 전국 평균 2.71%보다 0.19%포인트 높고, 지난 제8회 지방선거 같은 시간대 투표율 2.73%보다 0.17%포인트 높은 수치다.

 

시군별로는 하동군이 가장 높은 투표율을 기록했다. 하동군은 전체 선거권자 3만7046명 가운데 2542명이 투표해 6.86%의 투표율을 보였다.

 

박일웅 경남도지사 권한대행도 이날 창원시 성산구 경남연구원에 마련된 용지동 사전투표소를 찾아 사전투표에 참여했다.

 

박 권한대행은 투표 안내를 받은 뒤 관외 사전투표 방식으로 한 표를 행사했다.

 

경남도는 사전투표 기간 동안 도내 모든 투표소에서 차질 없이 투표가 진행될 수 있도록 운영 상황을 점검하고 있다.

 

경남도 관계자는 “도민들이 가까운 사전투표소와 선거일 투표소를 확인해 소중한 참정권을 행사해 달라”고 말했다.
