[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 창녕군이 생성형 인공지능(AI)을 행정 현장에 본격 도입하며 공직사회의 디지털 전환에 속도를 내고 있다.

 

창녕군은 6월 1일부터 내부 직원 전용 생성형 AI 통합 플랫폼인 ‘행정 AI 톡톡’ 서비스를 운영한다고 밝혔다.

 

‘행정 AI 톡톡’은 챗GPT, 제미나이, 클로드, 퍼플렉시티, 그록 등 주요 생성형 AI 서비스를 행정망 환경에서 통합 제공하는 플랫폼이다. 직원들은 별도 프로그램 설치 없이 정보 검색, 문서 요약, 보도자료 작성, 업무자료 정리 등 다양한 행정업무에 AI를 활용할 수 있다.

 

특히 여러 AI 서비스를 개별 구독할 경우 월 15만 원 이상 비용이 발생하는 점을 고려해 군은 통합 플랫폼 구축을 통해 예산 절감과 업무 효율 향상을 동시에 꾀하고 있다.

 

창녕군은 단순한 시스템 도입에 그치지 않고 활용 역량 강화에도 나섰다. 서비스 개시를 앞두고 지난 5월 27일부터 29일까지 직원 15명을 대상으로 인공지능 전문교육을 실시해 실무 활용 능력을 높였다.

 

이번 플랫폼 도입은 지방자치단체 차원에서 생성형 AI를 행정망에 접목해 업무 생산성을 높이려는 시도로, 반복적인 문서 업무를 줄이고 정책 기획과 주민 서비스에 더 많은 행정력을 투입할 수 있는 기반이 될 것으로 기대된다.

 

군은 향후 내부 업무 지원을 넘어 군민들이 직접 체감할 수 있는 AI 기반 행정서비스 확대도 검토하고 있다. 대표적으로 홈페이지 민원 안내 AI 서비스 도입 등을 통해 행정 접근성과 편의성을 높인다는 구상이다.
