사천시보건소는 지난 3월 금빛한의원과 업무협약을 체결하고 장기요양 재택의료센터 시범사업을 본격 운영하고 있다고 밝혔다.
재택의료센터는 장기요양수급자를 대상으로 한의사와 간호사, 사회복지사로 구성된 재택의료팀이 가정을 직접 방문해 진료와 건강관리, 돌봄 연계 서비스를 제공하는 사업이다.
특히 병원 방문이 어려운 고령자들이 이동과 대기 시간 부담 없이 자택에서 진료를 받을 수 있어 이용자 만족도가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 보호자 역시 병원 동행 부담을 줄일 수 있어 상담 문의가 꾸준히 증가하고 있다고 시는 설명했다.
서비스 이용을 희망하는 장기요양수급자는 금빛한의원에 신청하면 초기 상담과 건강 상태 평가, 치료계획 수립 과정을 거쳐 방문 의료서비스를 받을 수 있다. 이용 비용은 건강보험 자격 등에 따라 일부 본인부담금이 발생한다.
이번 사업은 초고령사회 진입에 따라 의료와 돌봄을 연계하는 지역사회 통합돌봄 정책의 일환으로 추진되고 있다. 의료기관 방문이 어려운 고령층에게 필요한 의료서비스를 제공해 건강관리 사각지대를 줄이는 데 목적이 있다.
