[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 양산시가 시민 교통편의 향상과 택시 수급 안정을 위해 2026년 개인택시 신규면허 12대를 공급한다.

 

이번 공급은 2024년 실시한 제5차 택시 총량 실태조사 결과에 따른 것으로, 조사에서 양산지역은 총 36대의 택시 증차가 필요한 것으로 분석됐다. 이에 따라 시는 2025년부터 2027년까지 3년간 매년 12대씩 개인택시 신규면허를 공급할 계획이다.

 

현재 양산시 택시 면허는 총 786대로, 이 가운데 법인택시 253대, 개인택시 533대가 운행 중이다.

 

올해 신규면허는 택시 경력자 10대, 사업용 및 기타 분야 경력자 2대로 구분해 모집한다. 신청자는 관련 법령상 결격사유가 없어야 하며 공고일 기준 1년 이상 양산시에 주민등록을 둔 시민 등 자격요건을 충족해야 한다.

 

접수 기간은 오는 7월 13일부터 24일까지이며, 신청자는 면허신청서와 운전경력증명서, 무사고 운전경력증명서 등 관련 서류를 갖춰 양산시청 대중교통과에 방문 접수해야 한다.

 

양산시는 서류심사와 현장실사 등을 거쳐 9월 중 최종 면허 대상자를 확정·공고할 예정이다.

 

시 관계자는 “개인택시 신규면허 공급은 운수종사자의 영업 기반을 확대하고 시민들의 이동 편의를 높이기 위한 조치”라며 “공정하고 투명한 절차에 따라 대상자를 선정하겠다”고 말했다.
