이번 회의는 지난 1일 취임한 정 시장이 처음 주재한 간부회의로, 부시장과 실·국·소장, 출자·출연기관장뿐 아니라 읍·면·동장과 부서장까지 참석해 시정 주요 현안과 핵심사업 추진 상황을 점검했다.

특히 이번 회의는 김해시 간부회의 가운데 처음으로 시 공식 유튜브 채널을 통해 생중계됐다. 시는 정책 결정 과정과 주요 현안 논의를 시민에게 공개해 시정 운영의 투명성을 높이고 시민과의 소통을 강화하기 위해 생중계를 실시했다고 설명했다.
