[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 고성군이 유소년 선수 육성과 체육인 정주 여건 조성을 위해 조성한 '고성군 스포츠빌리지' 입주자를 모집한다.

 

스포츠빌리지는 고성읍 기월리 일원에 인구소멸대응기금 60억원을 투입해 조성한 체육인 맞춤형 주거시설로, 2022년 착공해 올해 5월 준공됐다.

 

공급 물량은 단독주택 4동과 다가구주택 18호다. 단독주택은 지정스포츠클럽을 대상으로 하며, 다가구주택은 지역 초·중·고 학생선수를 포함한 세대와 체육지도자가 신청할 수 있다.

 

신청 기간은 오는 20일까지이며, 국민체육센터 2층 스포츠산업과를 방문해 접수하면 된다.

 

입주자는 서류심사와 스포츠빌리지 운영위원회 심의를 거쳐 선정한다. 학생선수 연령과 선수·지도자의 수상 경력, 지역 체육 발전 기여 가능성 등을 종합 평가하며, 최종 대상자는 29일 개별 통보된다. 입주는 계약 절차를 거쳐 9월 1일부터 시작될 예정이다.

 

고성군은 스포츠빌리지가 체육 인재의 안정적인 정착과 지역 체육 경쟁력 강화에 기여할 것으로 기대하고 있다.
