▲ 하동군, 돌봄인력 전문교육 확대

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 하동군이 지역사회 통합돌봄 서비스의 질을 높이기 위해 돌봄활동가와 제공기관 종사자를 대상으로 한 전문교육을 잇달아 실시하며 현장 대응 역량 강화에 나섰다.

군은 지난 6월 29일 군청 소회의실에서 기존 돌봄활동가와 읍·면 담당 공무원 20여 명을 대상으로 자체 기본교육을 진행했다. 교육은 돌봄활동가의 역할과 의사소통 방법, 활동 시 유의사항을 중심으로 한 이론교육과 정리수납 실습으로 구성됐다.

이어 7월 2일에는 하동군노인장애인복지관에서 제공기관 종사자와 신규 돌봄활동가 60여 명을 대상으로 '2026년 통합돌봄 전문가 양성교육'을 개최했다. 이번 교육은 경상남도가 주최하고 하동군과 경상남도사회서비스원이 공동 주관했다.

교육에서는 통합돌봄 정책과 협력체계, 대상자 특성에 맞는 의사소통, 응급상황 대처 및 심폐소생술 등 현장에서 필요한 실무 중심 프로그램이 진행됐다.

하동군은 이번 교육을 통해 돌봄인력의 전문성과 현장 대응 능력을 높여 보다 체계적인 지역사회 통합돌봄 기반을 마련할 것으로 기대하고 있다.

군 관계자는 "돌봄서비스의 품질은 현장 인력의 전문성에서 시작된다"며 "지속적인 교육과 역량 강화를 통해 군민이 체감하는 통합돌봄 체계를 구축하고 복지 사각지대 해소에 힘쓰겠다"고 말했다.

하동군은 주민이 직접 참여하는 경남형 이웃돌봄사업을 운영하고 있으며, 앞으로도 돌봄인력 교육과 지원을 확대해 지역 중심 돌봄체계를 강화할 계획이다.
