▲ 경남직업교육박람회 개막

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도교육청은 10일 창원컨벤션센터(CECO)에서 '2026 경남직업교육박람회'를 열고 직업계고 교육과정 체험과 진로·취업 상담 프로그램을 운영했다.

이번 박람회에는 도내 36개 직업계고와 공공기관, 산업체가 참여해 학교 교육과 산업 현장을 연계한 체험·상담 프로그램을 마련했다. 행사에는 초·중·고등학생 5천여 명이 참가해 직업계고 교육과정을 체험하고 진로 상담을 받았다.

취업을 준비하는 학생들은 기업 관계자와 상담하고 현장 면접에 참여하며 취업 준비 기회를 가졌다. 학부모들도 직업교육 과정과 진로 정보를 살펴보며 변화하는 직업교육을 이해하는 시간을 가졌다.

개막식과 무대 운영에는 직업계고 학생들이 직접 참여했다. 학생들은 사회 진행과 공연, 전공 체험 프로그램 운영 등을 맡아 학교에서 익힌 직무 역량을 선보였다.

경남교육청은 이번 박람회를 통해 학생들의 진로 탐색을 지원하는 동시에 학교와 기업이 연계하는 지역 직업교육 협력 기반을 강화한다는 계획이다.

박주용 부교육감은 "학생들이 적성과 진로를 바탕으로 미래를 설계하고 배움이 취업으로 이어질 수 있도록 학생 성장 중심의 직업교육을 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다"고 말했다.

On the 10th, the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education held the "2026 Gyeongnam Vocational Education Fair" at the Changwon Convention Center (CECO), operating programs for experiencing vocational high school curricula and providing career and employment counseling.

This fair featured participation from 36 vocational high schools in the province, as well as public institutions and industrial companies, offering experience and counseling programs that link school education with the industrial field. Over 5,000 elementary, middle, and high school students attended the event to experience the vocational high school curriculum and receive career counseling.

Students preparing for employment had the opportunity to prepare by consulting with company representatives and participating in on-site interviews. Parents also took the time to understand the evolving landscape of vocational education by examining vocational training courses and career information.
