[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 여름철 자연재해에 대비하기 위해 명석면 나불천과 대곡·집현면 향양천 수해복구 사업장을 방문해 우기 대비 대응체계를 집중 확인했다고 13일 밝혔다.

이날 점검은 지난해 집중호우 피해 복구사업의 추진 현황을 확인하고 우기 안전사고를 예방하기 위해 마련, 조규일 시장과 건설하천과 관계 공무원, 지역 주민들이 함께 현장을 둘러보며 복구 진행 상황과 안전대책을 살폈다.

조규일 시장은 명석면 나불천 재해복구 사업장에서 제방 복구 완료 현황과 시설물 상태를 점검한 뒤 공사 관계자들에게 마지막 공정까지 긴장을 늦추지 말고 안전관리와 품질 확보에 최선을 다해 줄 것을 당부했다.

이어 그는 향양천 재해복구 사업 현장을 찾아 사업 추진계획과 우기 대비 안전대책을 보고받고 공사 구간의 위험 요인을 직접 점검했으며, 집중호우 시 피해를 막기 위한 응급복구 체계 구축과 주민 불편 최소화를 강조했다.
