[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 14일 시청 5층 상황실에서 제37회 경남도 생활체육대축전 공개행사 연출 대행용역 착수보고회를 열고 성공적인 대회 개최를 위한 본격적인 준비에 돌입했다.

 

이날 보고회는 박일동 부시장과 관계 공무원, 연출대행사 관계자 등이 참석해 개·폐회식 연출 방향과 행사 구성, 운영계획, 주요 프로그램 등을 공유하고 성공적인 대회 개최를 위한 다양한 의견이 논의됐다.

 

이날 참석자들은 진주시의 역사와 문화, 미래 비전을 담아낼 수 있는 개회식 연출과 축하공연, 부대행사 등 차별화된 콘텐츠를 중심으로 논의, 선수단과 시민이 함께 어우러지는 화합의 축제를 만들기 위한 세부 추진계획도 함께 점검했다.

 

제37회 경남도 생활체육대축전은 오는 10월 30일부터 11월 1일까지 3일간 진주시에서 개최되며, 종합경기장을 비롯한 35개 경기장에서 31개 종목의 경기가 진행돼 도내 생활체육 동호인과 임원 등이 참가하는 경남 최대 생활체육 축제로 치러질 예정이다.

 

진주시는 이번 대축전을 통해 생활체육 활성화는 물론 우수한 문화관광 자원을 널리 알리고 대회 기간에는 진주종합경기장 일원에서 2026 진주 국화작품전시회도 함께 열어 스포츠와 문화가 어우러진 축제 분위기를 조성할 계획이다.
