[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 밀양시가 농촌 체류와 영농 체험을 결합한 ‘농촌 체류형 복합단지 조성사업’ 공모에 선정됐다.

 

밀양시는 농림축산식품부가 주관한 2026년 농촌 체류형 복합단지 조성사업 신규지구 공모에서 ‘리버-팜 스테이 밀양이음’을 주제로 한 사업이 최종 선정됐다고 밝혔다.

 

이번 사업은 주 4일 도시, 주 3일 농촌에 머무는 ‘4도3촌’ 생활 확산에 대응해 농촌 체류 공간을 조성하고 생활·관계인구 유입을 촉진하기 위한 사업이다.

 

밀양시는 2026년부터 2028년까지 3년간 하남읍 명례리 일원에 총 30억원(국비 15억원·지방비 15억원)을 투입한다.

 

사업 대상지는 1999년 폐교 이후 활용되지 못한 옛 명례초등학교 부지로, 시는 이곳에 소규모 주거시설 17호와 커뮤니티센터, 공동텃밭 등을 조성할 계획이다.

 

완공 이후에는 입주자 모집과 임대 운영 계획을 마련해 도시민이 일정 기간 머물며 농촌 생활을 경험할 수 있는 공간으로 활용한다.

 

밀양시는 체류 공간 제공과 함께 영농체험, 여가·관광 프로그램을 연계해 도시민의 농촌 정착 가능성을 높이고 지역 활력 회복에도 나선다는 방침이다.
