의령군은 30일 AI·미래에너지 분야 기업인 ㈜델타엑스와 148억원 규모의 투자협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

 

이날 협약식에는 오태완 군수와 김수민 ㈜델타엑스 대표, 경상남도와 경남투자청 관계자 등이 참석했다.

 

협약에 따라 ㈜델타엑스는 의령군에 생산시설을 구축하고 44명을 신규 채용할 계획이다. 군은 인허가 지원과 행정 절차 협조, 기업 애로사항 해결 등을 통해 투자가 원활히 진행될 수 있도록 지원한다.

 

㈜델타엑스는 비전 인공지능(Vision AI)과 차세대 배터리에너지저장장치(BESS) 기술을 기반으로 산업용 AI 솔루션과 에너지저장 기술을 개발하는 딥테크 기업이다. 미국·일본·인도 등 해외 시장에 진출했으며, 최근 일본 소프트뱅크와 AI 데이터센터용 에너지저장장치 공동개발도 추진하고 있다.
