[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 거제시는 민선 9기 시장 공약사업의 구체적인 실행 방안을 마련하기 위한 '시장 공약사업 실천계획 보고회'를 개최했다고 5일 밝혔다.

지난 4일 시청 중회의실에서 열린 보고회는 변광용 시장 주재로 진행됐으며, 핵심·신규 공약을 중심으로 부서별 추진 계획과 이행 방안을 점검했다.

이날 보고회에서는 공약사업별 연도별 추진 일정, 재원 확보 방안과 투자계획, 관련 법령 검토, 행정절차 이행 계획 등을 종합적으로 논의했다.

거제시는 시민 체감도가 높은 사업은 조기 추진하고, 중장기 사업은 단계별 실행 전략과 재원 마련 방안을 구체화해 추진력을 높일 계획이다.

변광용 시장은 "공약은 시민과의 약속이자 지역 변화를 이끄는 핵심 동력"이라며 "실현 가능성을 보완해 시민이 체감할 수 있는 성과로 이어지도록 속도감 있게 추진해 달라"고 당부했다.

시는 이번 보고회 결과를 반영한 뒤 8월 말 공약이행평가단 심의를 거쳐 공약사업을 확정하고, 9월 중 시 홈페이지를 통해 공개할 예정이다.
